3.32 know that in human cells the diploid number of chromosomes is 46 and the haploid number is 23

Pretty self-explanatory:
All human cells are diploid except for gametes (sex cells) which are haploid.

Diploid: Containing 23 pairs of chromosomes which are 46 individual chromosomes. Diploid cells carry out cell division via mitosis.
Haploid: Containing 23 individual chromosomes. Haploid cells carry out cell division via meiosis.
